Mr Dyer studied biochemistry and pharmacology before entering medical training at the University of Southampton. He graduated with two degrees in 1994. He undertook his higher specialist training in Urology in the Wessex Deanery. Having gained considerable experience in all aspects of urological practice, he ventured to Australia for a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery. He also undertook additional specialist training in advanced laparoscopy in Ohio. He has built on this wealth of experience and introduced robotic surgery to his practice in 2015.
He completed a Medical Doctorate in 2007.
Mr Dyer is accomplished in all areas of general urology including benign and malignant prostate conditions, peno-scrotal surgery and erectile dysfunction. Nevertheless the majority of his practice centres around prostate cancer diagnostics and robotic prostatectomy

Very helpful consultation with Mr Dyer. Well prepared with my medical history. Clear concise summary of my situation delivered in a very profesional manner
I had an appointment with the consultant, Mr Dyer, regarding my BPH and acute urine retention. He was able to walk me through the results of the tests I had done so far and suggested next steps including an endoscopic incision of outlet of my bladder and TURP. It was an excellent insight into my condition and the treatment options available to me. I felt very well informed.
Mr dyer explained everything to me very clearly and in a kindly manner. He made me feel better and put some of my worries at ease.
Mr.Dyer was extremely helpful, considerate, and knowledgeable.
As I live on the Isle of Wight, Mr Dyer tryed to get me a scan after his consultation to save a second visit initially this was thought to be easy to do but somebody in the radiology department was leaving for the afternoon and it couldn’t be fitted in it would be good if there could be spare capacity For special cases.
As stated in my earlier review, I was very pleased to meet Mr Jonathan Dyer, and he fully informed me of the situation as he saw it. I now feel fully informed about how he suggests that this should progress from here, and now await information from Spire Hospital as to when and MRI Scan and Erodynamics test can be arranged
