About Mr Giles Cunnick
Mr Giles Cunnick is a highly experienced and respected Consultant General Surgeon, specialising in Breast Surgery. He trained in London at The Royal Marsden, St Thomas' and St Barts' Hospitals. Mr Cunnick has been the lead Quality Assurance Surgeon for the South Central Region since 2006 and is the lead clinician for breast cancer in the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust. He is also a part of the National Committee for the Association of Breast Surgeons.
Additionally, Mr Cunnick has been an active researcher in his field. He was awarded a doctorate and Hunterian Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons for his research on the biology of breast cancer. He has published numerous papers on breast disease, breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery, and he has been cited widely by his peers in the field. Mr Cunnick has presented his work to the medical community at conferences worldwide.

From my initial consultation with Mr Cunnick to the last check up I have felt like I was in very safe, experienced hands which has been extremely reassuring. The results of my surgery were very good and natural considering I've got full implants after having a double mastectomy. My overall recovery from the operation was good and much better than I anticipated. I have received great care throughout.

Mr Cunnick, Met me with a welcoming handshake and smile, which immediately made me feel at ease. He asked thorough questions which predetermined his thoughts, carry out an examination by hand and then securing an immediate appointment for an ultrasound to take place, he attended during the ultrasound to provide reassurance of the outcome. Ultimately within an hour had a full consultation, organised ultra sound and answer/diagnosis. Extremely happy to have seen Mr Cunnick and delighted with the outcome. Warm Regards

He came from the Marsden a research and clinical unit that speaks for itself and had won every worthwhile trainee prize in surgery! He has lived up to that promise and established a class leading breast treatment and screening unit. He has our family franchise and you can't recommend someone more highly than that.
