Mr Derek Veitch is a renowned Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon in the UK. He practices privately with BMI Healthcare and holds an NHS Consultant post at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He treats both adults and children for a variety of ENT conditions

He graduated from Edinburgh University in 1978 before completing an extensive training scheme in his field. He was awarded a Fellowship in General Surgery before focusing on ENT in which he spent 5 years training across London hospitals including Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear hospital. He is heavily published and remains involved in medical education.

He has also kept up to date with new treatments as they get developed including endoscopic and microscopic surgery.
