Mr David Whitehead

Mr David Whitehead is a Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon practising exclusively in rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, functional nasal surgery, and complex nasal reconstruction. He is the founder of NOSE.LONDON , based at 9 Harley Street.

Mr Whitehead holds Board Certification in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face, Nose, Periorbital Region, Ears and Non-Surgical Procedures, awarded by the Intercollegiate Cosmetic Surgery Oversight Committee under the Royal College of Surgeons of England. This credential is recorded on the national register of certified cosmetic surgeons and is backed by all four Royal Surgical Colleges — making it the highest standard of cosmetic surgery regulation in the United Kingdom.

His training includes two dedicated post-CCT fellowships across two countries — a combination that is exceptionally rare among UK ENT surgeons. He completed a Fellowship in Advanced Rhinology, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary, one of the UK's largest tertiary ENT departments, gaining intensive exposure to complex sinus disease, rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, and anterior skull base surgery within a multidisciplinary team. He then undertook a European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) Fellowship at FACE Istanbul under Professor Özcan Çakmak, a former President of the EAFPS and internationally board-certified facial plastic surgeon, performing high-volume cosmetic rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery and receiving the highest possible evaluation across all surgical and clinical domains.

Mr Whitehead holds the FRCS (ORL-HNS) and an MSc in Surgical Technology from Imperial College London. He routinely performs ultrasonic piezo rhinoplasty with advanced 3D photographic planning for precise, natural results, and was the first surgeon outside North America to introduce Clarifix cryotherapy for chronic rhinitis.
