About Mr David Simpson
I have been an Orthopaedic Consultant for over twenty
years and qualified as a doctor in Sheffield, in the early nineties. My area of
expertise is hip and knee surgery. I have a huge experience of hip and knee
replacement surgery, having performed nearly 3000 of these procedures with excellent
results. The National Joint Registry data, which collects data on all hip and
knee replacements, confirms my excellent outcomes and I have published this
data on my own website – see Media below.
I have also performed over 500 ACL (Anterior Cruciate
Ligament) surgeries to the knee and over 2000 other keyhole surgical procedures to the knee eg: cartilage tears.
Away from work, from a very young age, I have always
participated in sport. I was a former British Under 14 and 16 squash champion
and played squash until my mid-forties. Nowadays, I keep fit by doing indoor
rowing and cycling and play regular golf.

The recent visit was really good and professional. I was visited on the bed and to make sure I'm doing well. Mr David S asked me questions about my present hip conditions. He later showed me picture(X-ray) before and after the hip surgery. I really appreciate everything done well.
