Mr David J Exon is a Consultant General Surgeon who qualified in 1990 from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London.

I had already had surgery with this surgeon so had no hesitation 4 years later to contact him again
Understood all the answers to my questions in easy terms for non medical patient.
Diagnosis and treatment for gallbladder removal was quick and excellently managed.
I found David to be informative regarding the surgery he was going to provide. He took time to listen to my questions and concerns. He formulated a plan of action and took me through each stage. He was reassuring and gave me time to discuss my experience.
Explained symptoms and David listened without jumping to conclusions, easy to talk too and next steps discussed, wasn’t made to feel like it was a rush to see the next patient, this was a breath of fresh air based on seeing other doctors and surgeons in past times.
Mr Exon was very thorough and put me at ease, he dealt with my case efficiently and by the time i left i had been referred for a follow on diagnostic test which was confirmed within 48 hours.
Despite me feeling very anxious he soon put me at ease with his friendly demeanour and explained options and procedures in great detail.. Excellent!
Put my mind at ease from the minute our consultation started. Listened to me, reassured me, explained my options. Took his time to talk through the cause and treatment of my condition. Was very friendly and relaxed. Trusted him from the start and was there to explain how the operation went as soon as I came around from the anaesthesia.
