Could not be happier with the outcome of my recent procedure. Mr Elson is very good at explaining the options available and the outcomes, really can't speak highly enough of him.

I had my initial consultation in Aug '23 and a following appointment for an MRI scan which resulted in my requiring full knee replacement surgery. Mr Elson was extremely personable and informed me what to expect from surgery which took place on the 16th Nov '23 and by the end of December I had achieved a 137degree knee bend. I have had no post operative problems at all and no continued swelling. I followed strictly with the physio regimen which consisted in 3 attendances after which I continued 3 times a day at home and at the time of posting I am doing two 20 minute sessions a day on a static bike. I cannot recommend Mr Elson highly enough and can only marvel at his expertise which has greatly transformed my life at 74 years old.

It was a first class experience from my first consultation to post operation. I was very impressed with the service and couldn’t recommend him enough.

Mr Elson took plenty of time to listen to the details of my injury during consultation, taking detailed notes throughout to understand my case before making an assessment. He was extremely thorough when reviewing symptoms and scans results. At no point did I feel rushed out of the consultation, and was given extra time after new scans and results to ensure I could ask all my questions before being discharged. With such great knowledge and detailed evaluation, I would recommend Mr Elson to anyone.

David was excellent , explained everything to me beforehand and I had to stay in for two nights as I was struggling to bend/stand with knee . David called in on the Saturday morning to check on progress. Good experience with David.

During my initial consultation David Elson fully explained the proceedure and the risks involved with this type of surgery. On the day of the operation he visited me before the op to make sure that I was ok and even after the op he took the time to visit me to check my progress and my welfare. In my opinion, David Elson is the best in the business

I saw Mr Elson back in February 2023 following a skiing injury. He was very knowledgable with regards to my injury and I felt like I was in safe hands. He had me booked in for an ACL repair 2 weeks later. The surgery went really well. I was running again in July and I have just booked to go skiing again in February. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. I think he is one of the very few people that does ACL repair not just a reconstruction but you have to get in there quick after the injury.

I tore my ACL playing football and from my very first point of contact via phone with Dr Elson I could not fault him at all, he listened to what I had to say in regards to my injury and discussed it thoroughly, from there we agreed an MRI would be beneficial before a face to face consultation. At the face to face consultation Dr Elson was faultless again, he made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, he examined my knee and discussed the findings of my MRI which was a fully ruptured ACL. He then discussed my options thoroughly and we decided surgery was the best option for me. Surgery day I was very nervous but again Dr Elson was amazing, his calming, kind and empathetic manner made me feel so relaxed. Could not recommend Dr Elson enough, I was always made to feel comfortable and never felt rushed even if he was running behind, hopefully I won’t need treatment of this nature again but if I ever do i will certainly be contacting Dr Elson again.
