Mr David Boddie

Mr David Boddie is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Aberdeen. He has a specialist interest in trauma, ankle surgery, foot surgery, hand surgery, hip surgery and knee surgery, as well as bone and soft-tissue tumours. He is a Member of Aberdeen Orthopaedic Network and currently sees patients at Albyn Hospital.

Following his graduation from the University of Aberdeen in 1991 and further posts in both Aberdeen and Edinburgh, he went onto undertake his basic and higher training and complete a 1.5 year full time research before beginning his higher surgical training. His fellowship was completed at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham and various travelling fellowships at Harborview Trauma Center in Seattle and the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

David is a current ATLS instructor and co-chairman of the AO Principles of Operative Fracture Management Course in Edinburgh.
