Mr Charles Durrant

Mr Charles Durrant graduated in medicine from St Mary's Hospital, part of the University of London. He was an honours candidate in Surgery. He undertook general surgical training in London before winning a place on the Pan Thames Plastic Surgery Training Scheme. Mr Durrant undertook further specialist training in aesthetic surgery at the McIndoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead. His microsurgical fellowship was at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He has undertaken travelling fellowships to M D Anderson Cancer Centre in Texas, the Bernie O'Brien Microsurgical Institute in Melbourne, and the Melanoma Institute of Australia.

Mr Durrant is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Their practice involves mainly breast reconstruction following mastectomy. They find that their experience in cosmetic surgery has helped them achieve excellent results with these difficult cases. Likewise, their experience with reconstruction has given them a keen eye for aesthetic practice.
