Mr. Chaminda Sellahewa was a very kind and professional gentleman.He gave time to examining me and take my medical history also allowing me to ask questions and giving answers and reassurance as required.He explained all about my Hernia and the proposed operation.I came away from my appointment full of confidence and information that I needed.I have full confidence in his capabilities and felt very comfortable in his presence.I would like to thank him for his attention and feel assured that I will be well cared for.Thank you Mr Chaminda Sellahewa.

1st class. The ward was expecting me and took bloods immediately. I had a ct scan as quickly as they could do it and stayed overnight and was operated on next day for abdominal abscess. I cannot fault the service and Mr Sellahewa and his team and I will be forever grateful for their swift action in. My hour of need.

I went to see Mr Sellahewa regarding my Hernia operation. All the staff I crossed paths with were friendly and helpful. The waiting area was comfortable and quiet, even had good Wi-Fi. Mr Sellahewa was very professional and explained everything clearly. They were helpful and friendly.

I booked the appointment due to ongoing and constant pain that has been causing significant concern. However, the consultation lasted less than five minutes, which felt insufficient to properly assess my condition. During the appointment, I was asked to describe my symptoms, which the consultant briefly observed. However, there was no physical examination or any attempt to assess the affected area through touch or further investigation. I found this particularly concerning given the nature of my symptoms. Despite explaining my condition and raising questions, I was informed that it was not possible to diagnose the issue at this stage. My concerns and questions were largely dismissed, and I was advised to return only if the pain persisted over the coming months. Even when I referred to observations previously made by my GP, there was no further examination or consideration—only general advice to “eat healthy,” which did not feel relevant or helpful. Overall, I felt that the approach lacked thoroughness, consideration, and professionalism. I did not feel heard or supported during the consultation, and I am left without clarity or a plan to address my symptoms.

An absolutely charming man 😃 Totally professional. He explains things in a way that makes it completely understandable to the lay person. It was a delight to have a consultation with him.

Pleasant and efficient

My sellahrwa was very professional and I understand my problems, but I still have this dreadful fatigue, and I still do not know about the pain in my chest, or how bad my fibrosis of my liver is. I do not know where to go from here.

I was recommended to see this Doctor by a friend when I found out I had gallstones. He explained things well and got me booked in for surgery several weeks later. Super efficient! Would 100% recommend.
