Mr Brian Musgrove

Mr. Brian Musgrove is a Consultant Facial Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He specialises in Facial Plastic Surgery including cosmetic surgery of the face and neck and he has a particular interest in Facial Feminising Surgery.

Mr. Musgrove graduated in both Medicine and Dental Surgery at the University of Liverpool in 1978 before undergoing extensive training in General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at well known University Teaching Hospitals in London, Edinburgh and Liverpool, Dallas in America and Heidelberg in Germany. Brian Musgrove has been Clinical Lead for the Department of Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery for the Central Manchester and Manchester Childrens' University Hospitals Foundation Trust (CMFT) and a Consultant Head and Neck and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Christie Cancer Hospital for 25 years

He retired from the NHS in 2013 and is now in full time private practice in London and Surrey.

Whilst working in the NHS, his special interests were in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, particularly for patients suffering from tumours of the face, mouth and jaw, facial injuries and facial deformities. He now applies these specialised skills in his private practice for facial cosmetic surgery, in which he has had extensive experience, having performed over 2000 rhinoplasties (nose surgery) and 1000 facelifts, as well as other facial plastic and cosmetic procedures such as blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), brow lifts, ear pinning (otoplasty), chin and cheek implants and surgery to the upper and lower jaws, amongst others.

Mr. Musgrove has lectured extensively in the UK and abroad, and has published in professional journals.
