Mr Bill Ledingham

Mr Bill Ledingham is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip & Knee Surgery with over 27 years of specialist experience. He is based in Aberdeen and is a Member of the Aberdeen Orthopaedic Network, seeing private patients at Albyn Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the University of Aberdeen in 1980, followed by his surgical training in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Bath. He joined the Senior NHS Orthopaedic Surgeon department in 1992.

Mr Ledingham's primary focus lies in general orthopaedic surgery, rheumatoid surgery, and arthroplasty of the hip and knee. However, he also undertakes less common procedures such as shoulder and elbow replacements, revision surgery, and foot surgery.

Mr Ledingham also has expertise in spinal problems, thoroughly assessing and investigating each case. If spinal surgery is necessary, he ensures seamless referrals to the appropriate specialists.
