I first met Mr Haq in 2015 after surviving emergency surgery within the NHS. As soon as I met with him I immediately knew he was the surgeon who would be able to perform my further surgeries and he promised he ‘fix me’. I had my final surgery last year and I could not have got through them without his support and care. Not only is he an amazing surgeon I consider him a good friend and anyone who has the good fortune of being treated by Mr Haq are in the best of hands. My first appointment with Mr Haq was very reassuring and he completely put me at ease so that I felt able to talk about my issues. He is personable, engaging and a good listener. He explained fully the next steps and could not have been more thorough in his assessment of my case. He was equally reassuring on the day of my colonoscopy and I felt that I was in excellent hands. The procedure went very well and I am happy with the treatment I received. All of the staff I have dealt with at the London Hospital have been brilliant and the admin side of things is efficient, informative and timely.

Mr Haq was my surgeon for a three stage treatment in a six month period after my Crohn's diagnosis, and I write this with the gratitude that I am once again fit and well. As unsettling as it is to need any type of surgery, major or minor, on each occasion I knew I was in excellent hands and that each time my outcome would be as good as it could possibly be. Prior to commencing my treatment, Mr Haq skilfully and professionally delivered the delicate balance of advising on what was wrong and what needed doing, with the assurance of the quality of care I would receive and the end result I could expect.
