I was treated for an umbilical hernia. Mr Haq was friendly and engaging. The problem was diagnosed quickly and explained very clearly. The procedure was organised efficiently, and Mr Haq and team were understanding and accommodating when I was forced to reschedule (due to a personal commitment). The surgery was a success, with no visible scars or discomfort. Following Mr Haq’s advice, my recovery was faster than expected.

Mr Haq is not only very skilled but also extremely easy to relate to and to understand. He quickly picked up my concerns and reassured me as well as made very clear what the procedure I am having involved. He did his best also to find times that suited me, ensuring both my procedures can be done on the same day.

Mr Haq put me at ease from the moment I arrived and explained everything in a very straightforward manner.

I contacted Dr Haq during / just after the "lock down" because I needed to have treatment on my hernia. Dr Haq and his excellent PA, Rona, were very responsive and set up a Zoom consultation. Following that, when we were allowed, I had a face to face consultation; and then we arranged a date for the operation - which I had to change due to other circumstances. Before the operation I found Dr Haq to be very courteous, very thorough, very easy to deal with. He explained all aspects of what was needed in detail. Before the operation, at the hospital, he visited me to say what would be happening; and after the operation again visited to explain exactly what had happened. An additional reason for asking Dr Haq to conduct the op was because he could / would do this laposcopically rather than through the normal open surgery. After the op I had no pain, and did not need the painkillers. I saw him 12 days after the op for a follow consultaton at which again he showed me -with photos - what had happened. I have another appointment in a month. If I ever needed a similar op I would have no hesitation in contacting Dr Haq.

I have nothing but good things to say. Mr. Haq and his team, especially Rona we’re just fantastic and made the whole experience better. After the time it took to heal, I am now better than I’ve ever been and I can’t thank Mr Haq and all who were involved enough. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Mr Haq. He sorted my problems out after years of pain and discomfort when other doctors failed to diagnose the problem. I can lead a normal, active life again and have him to thank for it. He also has an excellent bedside manner.
