Mr Alex Wee

Mr Alex Wee has been an orthopaedic consultant for 15 years. He undertook foot and ankle specialist fellowships in Cambridge, Stanmore and Minneapolis. He sees patients with foot and ankle symptoms, both chronic and acute, and consults at Prime Health Weybridge, Mount Alvernia Hospital Guildford, Woking Nuffield Hospital, and Parkside suite Frimley park hospital. Alex is particularly interested in athletes, dancers and sports injuries, and will tailor treatment as much as possible to their specific needs and supports their rehabilitation to maximise performance. He has an extensive network of radiologists, physiotherapists and biomechanical podiatrists, whose primary aim is the return of the patient to their usual level of activity or sport.

His NHS practice is at Frimley Park Hospital, where he undertakes all types of foot and ankle surgery, complex foot and ankle trauma, and complex foot deformity reconstruction for both neurologic and neuropathic patients. He supervises the training of surgeons at junior and senior fellowship levels, and runs surgical visitations at Frimley, welcoming guests surgeons from the UK, Europe, New Zealand. Alex has also taught at national and international meetings, and has published in peer reviewed journals.

In his spare time, he is kept busy with family life, tennis and playing music in a band.
