Mr Mouli Doddi

I am a Consultant ENT, Head, Neck and Thyroid Surgeon at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, Spire Cardiff Hospital and Nuffield Cardiff Hospitals.

I had comprehensive training in all aspects of ear, nose and throat surgery during my higher specialist training in Wales. I then undertook a fellowship in Australia specialising in head, neck and thyroid surgery. I also completed a research MPhil at Cardiff University.

My practice includes all aspects of adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat disorders. My sub-speciality expertise is in treating head and neck cancers, thyroid and salivary gland problems, voice and swallowing disorders.

I also specialise in snoring and sleep apnoea. I undertook research on nasal architecture and have expertise in facial plastic surgery including pinnaplasty/otoplasty (ear pinning)and rhinoplasty.

My experience in Australia helped me gain expertise in nose and sinus disorders including nasal obstruction, sinusitis, nasal polyps and allergy.

I have an active interest in all aspects of paediatric ENT and also have a special interest in ear disorders like hearing loss, dizziness and tinnitus.

I am the research lead for the Head and Neck department and the thyroid lead for the ENT department at Royal Glamorgan Hospital. I am an educational supervisor for core surgical trainees, ENT higher surgical trainees, and also a SSC medical student tutor at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. As a principal investigator, I oversee various national and international clinical trials in ENT, Head & Neck cancer and thyroid disorders.
