Mr Mohan Pullagura

Mr Mohan Pullagura is a Trauma and Orthopaedic consultant with a special interest in Upper limb and keyhole shoulder surgery. He consults privately at Fairfield Independent Hospital, and he is also a consultant at Whiston Hospital, St. Helen's Hospital, and Knowsley NHS Trust, where he is the lead surgeon for infection control. Mr Pullagura sees patients with a range of conditions including rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement syndrome, dislocation and instability, bicep tears, tennis/golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and Dupuytrens contracture. He performs procedures such as shoulder and elbow surgery, frozen shoulder surgery, and shoulder replacements, including reverse shoulder replacements.

Mr Pullagura gained his MBBS from the University of Health Sciences in 1995 before going on to complete a master's degree and further postgraduate training. In 2009, he gained his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons and in 2012 completed an advanced fellowship in upper limb surgery. Mr Pullagura is also a member of a number of organisations including the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and the North West Upper Limb Group.
