Dr Michael Watts

Dr Michael Watts is a Senior General Practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience spanning the NHS and the private sector. Throughout his career, he has transitioned from traditional primary care leadership to a specialised focus on preventative and lifestyle medicine. He was formerly Senior Partner at Datchet Health Centre, where his extensive experience in community medicine provided a strong foundation for his current holistic approach to healthcare, combining comprehensive primary care with a focus on prevention and long-term wellbeing.

He is a strong advocate for evidence-based interventions that address the root causes of chronic illness, particularly regarding metabolic and hormonal health. Dr Watts has particular interests in men’s health and wellbeing, lifestyle medicine, nutrition, metabolic health, weight management and hormone optimisation. As a member of both the British Society of Sexual Medicine and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, he incorporates expertise from these fields into a broader approach to patient care, supporting individuals in making sustainable changes to their health and wellbeing.

In addition to his focus on longevity and vitality, Dr Watts maintains a keen interest in diagnostic precision within primary care. He has a particular interest in skin health and sports medicine, including the use of dermoscopy as part of the assessment of skin conditions and lesions.
