Mr Michael Van Den Bossche

I was referred to Mr Van Den Bossche as a patient needing to have my gall bladder removed. He explained that he would do this as keyhole surgery fully explaining the benefits and also potential issues we could face. He also noticed that I had a potential heart issue that should be checked before surgery. This proved to be the case and, after treatment for that, he went ahead with the procedure. I did need a little more aftercare than expected however Mr Van Den Bossche saw me every day to check progress and ensured that I was kept up to date. I must say that throughout the entire process, I was impressed by his professionalism, his empathy and his bedside manner and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring his services.

Mr Van Den Bosche is an excellent professional. He saved me, I had a colon and rectum removal operation and all was so well executed, well cutted. I'm very pleased to be in his hands.

I met with Mr Van Den Bossche as a follow up to a recent operation and found him to be professional and clear about operations and treatment as always. I have known him through his role as a surgeon for 20 years now and I am confident in his skillset and consistency. He is always prompt, efficient and also friendly. Mr Van Den Bossche is welcoming and makes you feel he has tine to give you even when he is busy. He clearly explained the procedure I needed, and then provided good after care both in hospital and in follow up appointments. At one appointment he found that I needed a small procedure which he did during the appointment rather than making me return at a later time. That was very much appreciated, I trust him as an experienced surgeon and feel safe in his care.

He is extremely approachable and listens carefully. Also caring and understanding. An expert surgeon.

I found Mr Van Den Bossche very approachable. He communicated the relevant information clearly and in an understanable way. Appointments never felt rushed and he was happy to answer any questions. He gave a detailed explanation of the procedure, potential deviations that may be necessary, risks and expectations for recovery timeframes. Surgery went well with no issues. In the event that I did need any other procedures in the future I would be very happy to have Mr VDB as my surgeon again.
