Dr. Michael Chapman

Dr Michael Chapman is a dedicated Consultant Cardiologist who provides comprehensive care for individuals experiencing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. With a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care, Dr Chapman is committed to ensuring every individual receives tailored diagnostic evaluations and personal treatment plans. His clinical practice encompasses general cardiology as well as the specialist management of complex heart rhythm disorders and heart failure, helping patients achieve optimal cardiac health and an enhanced quality of life.

Dr Chapman possesses extensive expertise in cardiac rhythm management and electrophysiology. He specialises in evaluating and treating conditions such as arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, chest pain, syncope, breathlessness, and heart failure. As a skilled practitioner in device therapy, Dr Chapman performs procedures involving the implantation, programming, and troubleshooting of pacemakers, transvenous implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), subcutaneous ICDs, and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) devices. His commitment to advancing cardiac care is further demonstrated through his role as a principal investigator in cardiovascular research studies.

Dr Chapman completed his primary medical qualifications at Liverpool Medical School in 2010. He subsequently undertook core medical training and specialist Cardiology training within the Mersey and Northern deaneries, followed by advanced subspecialty training in cardiac rhythm management. Dr Chapman is certified as a Cardiac Device Specialist by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and has served as an EHRA Young Ambassador for the United Kingdom, reflecting his recognised professional standing within the international cardiology community.
