Melissa Cheeseman

Melissa Cheeseman is a Physiotherapist based in West Sussex. She specialises in Manual Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Physiotherapy and is also a Pilates Instructor and Sports Massage Therapist. She is passionate about helping those suffering from injuries to be able to return to the activities they enjoy doing. She combines her expertise as a sports massage therapist with her knowledge as a physiotherapist to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment, assessment and rehabilitation.

Melissa gained her Sport Massage certification in 2018, and graduated from the University of Bath in 2022 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. She then obtained her degree in Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2025. Melissa gained experience in a variety of clinical settings whilst training, including in the musculoskeletal department at St Thomas’ Hospital, and in specialist neurorehabilitation centres as well as sport medicine clinics. She utilises her experience to provide thorough and evidence-based care for the individuals she treats. Outside of her clinical work, Melissa enjoys supporting athletes at marathon events and also has supported track and field teams.
