Dr. Matthew Noble

Dr. Matthew Noble is a highly experienced General Practitioner (GP) with a career spanning over 20 years in both the NHS and private sectors. Dr. Noble earned his MBBS degree in Medicine from Queen Mary University of London. He completed his medical training at The Royal London and subsequently specialised as a GP in London. Dr. Noble has been at the forefront of digital healthcare innovation, particularly in remote care and virtual consultations.

Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at eMed, Dr. Noble focuses on delivering effective and safe digital consultations. He previously played a role in the early adoption of video consultations at Babylon Health. He contributed significantly to the development of Babylon’s medical AI symptom-checker, which has evolved into a widely used tool globally. 

Dr. Noble holds the position of UK Medical Director at Babylon Health, overseeing a large team of GPs who provide thousands of consultations weekly. Additionally, he is a Partner at Babylon GP at Hand, a digital-first general practice that serves over 45,000 NHS patients in London.

Throughout his career, Dr. Noble has been dedicated to enhancing patient care and promoting sustainable practices among healthcare professionals. He continues to advocate for the integration of digital technologies into healthcare delivery, ensuring that clinicians are equipped to meet the evolving needs of patients in the modern healthcare landscape.
