Mr Mathilde Renard

Mathilde Renard is a dedicated Physiotherapist specialising in Sports Physiotherapy and Perineal Rehabilitation. She graduated from the CHU Grenoble Alpes physiotherapy school, where she developed a keen interest in athlete monitoring and rehabilitation, perineal rehabilitation, and paediatrics.

From 2015 to 2017, Mathilde gained extensive experience in the sports world. She worked with the women’s rugby team in Grenoble, providing physiotherapy support before, during, and after matches. She also contributed her skills to prestigious events like the Ultra Trail du Vercors, Embrunman, and Ultra Trail des 4 Massifs (UT4M), initially as a student and later as a physiotherapist. Her work in Grenoble included specialised post-surgical rehabilitation and care for skiers and high-altitude athletes.

Committed to top-level athlete rehabilitation, Mathilde completed a research thesis on preventing musculoskeletal risks in young classical dancers. This led her to create "Dance Your Health!", an informational and preventive website for classical dance. She furthered her expertise by pursuing a master’s degree in Engineering for Health and Medicines (ISM), participating in a scientific project with Opéra Garnier in Paris, focusing on classical dance and cardiorespiratory endurance.

In late 2017, Mathilde relocated to Paris to advance her work in perineal rehabilitation. She trained in the perineal program of B. de Gasquet, encompassing assessment, education, prevention, and rehabilitation of the perineum while protecting the spine and maintaining harmonious abdominal tone. Additionally, she has expertise in respiratory physiotherapy for infants, which she practices in Versailles.
