About Dr Manoj Veettil
Dr Manoj Veettil is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust. He has developed extensive expertise in both primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, with additional experience in the management of peri-prosthetic fractures, musculoskeletal oncology surgery, and bone and joint infections. His routine practice also includes knee arthroscopy, meniscectomy and meniscal repair, and he is experienced in managing a wide range of paediatric and lower limb conditions.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Veettil has a strong academic background. He has published in respected international journals and presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. He is regularly invited to contribute as faculty on hip arthroplasty courses and plays an active role in medical education. He teaches and examines medical students at Birmingham and Aston Medical Schools.
His special interests include total hip replacement, total knee replacement, revision hip replacement, arthroscopy, meniscal repair and meniscectomy.
