Maia Lockhart

Maia Lockhart is a registered Dietitian with a special focus on women's health. As a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA), Maia brings both expertise and empathy to her practice. Her passion for empowering women through nutrition stems from her experience working in various NHS trusts, where she recognised a significant gap in dietetic services tailored to women's specific health needs.

Maia’s commitment to women's health led her to establish a successful women’s nutrition clinic within the NHS, where she worked closely with hundreds of women to help them take control of their health and well-being. Her culturally diverse background, being of both Russian and Pakistani heritage, shapes her approach to care. Maia is deeply mindful of cultural identity, beliefs, and behaviours, ensuring her nutritional guidance is both personalised and culturally sensitive. She understands that topics within women’s health can sometimes feel taboo or difficult to discuss, and she navigates these conversations with empathy and understanding, creating a safe and comfortable space for her clients.

At the heart of Maia’s practice is the belief that women deserve to be heard. Too often, women's symptoms and concerns are overlooked or dismissed within the healthcare system. Maia’s approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration, recognising that each individual is the expert of their own life. Her sessions focus on creating a supportive environment that empowers women to explore their unique nutritional goals and make informed decisions about their health.
