Explanation

I went to see Lucy as my quality of life had been severely affected by IBS and I had reached rock bottom. I needed help and saw all the excellent reviews online, so decided to take the leap of faith and book an appointment. I was suffering daily with diarrhoea or constipation or both. I couldn’t plan anything and it was as if I was a prisoner to my bowels. From the moment I met Lucy, I knew I was in safe hands. She listened with empathy and real understanding. The treatment plan involved a Low Fodmap diet, an app, a supplement and some tests to eliminate other conditions. It was a holistic approach. I am not exaggerating when I say Lucy helped me get my life back and I am so grateful. After a few days my symptoms improved and after a few weeks by 85%. I have follow up appointments as the treatment plan comes in stages. But in this short space of time, my energy levels have improved, I have lost weight, my IBS is under control 90% of the time and for the remaining 10% I am more equipped to deal with it. I no longer dread going out and panicking if I can’t locate a toilet. I recommend Lucy wholeheartedly, she changed my life and I am now able to enjoy life once again. I am so thankful that I found her and booked an appointment. Her help has been invaluable.

The best thing I can say about Lucy is how much she listens. As someone who has dealt with stomach issues for a couple of years now, I felt like I was on my own despite seeing numerous doctors/specialists. Lucy is so attentive and understanding to everything I say (symptoms, concerns, reactions, questions etc) which immediately puts me at ease. On top of that, she is so knowledgable and detailed in all the advice she gives. So far all the advice she has given has helped me and my gut symptoms so much and I couldn’t be more grateful for her ongoing support

Lucy has helped me with a number of gut issues over the last 6 months or so, she’s the first dietician who I really felt listened to me and tailored things to my unique needs. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, really listens, is empathetic, non judgemental and of course really knows her stuff. Dealing with gut symptoms is frustrating, complex and often depressing but Lucy has really helped me find simple strategies to help, highly recommend! Thank you Lucy
