Dr Louise Wiblin

Dr Louise Wiblin is an experienced Consultant Neurologist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of neurological conditions. She approaches each patient with empathy and professionalism, ensuring that individuals and their families feel fully supported when navigating complex neurological symptoms and diagnoses.

Clinically, Dr Wiblin has developed strong sub-specialty interests in movement disorders and neuropalliative care. She works closely with patients facing progressive neurological conditions, focusing on comprehensive symptom management, long-term support, and strategies to improve daily functional independence and quality of life. Her holistic approach balances advanced clinical interventions with compassionate, individualised treatment planning.

Dr Wiblin completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Durham University in 2003, followed by her primary medical qualification (MBBS) in London in 2008. She subsequently completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree at Newcastle University in 2017. Her postgraduate general medical training and higher specialist training in Neurology were undertaken in the North East of England. Recognised for her outstanding dedication to teaching and training, she was awarded the Chiron Medal by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
