It is a completely new experience to be in the a group environment discussing the menopause. I am at the stage of understanding what menopause symptoms look and feel like as try to identify if I am perimenopausal.
Lorraine explained everything in detail, both about symptoms and HRT medication effects. My GP hadn't explained half of the information she gave to us, and more importantly, she listened, cared, and didn't treat us like an inconvenience to her day
