About Ms Lisa Jagan
Miss Lisa Jagan is a distinguished Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Miss Jagan completed her Medical Degree, Ophthalmology Surgical Residency and Fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Queen’s University – a prestigious Canadian institution. Her academic journey has been recognised with multiple honours, scholarships, and international invitations to lecture in her field. Her research has been celebrated widely, including a feature on thecover of the Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She is committed to medical education and finds fulfilment in mentoring surgical trainees. This dedication earned her a Queen’s University grant for textbook authorship and the PARO Resident Teaching Award for outstanding clinical teaching.

Miss Jagan is highly experienced in the scarless approach to droopy eyelid correction surgery, performing over 500 of these surgeries per year. I saw Dr Jagan to have surgery to correct a droopy eyelid. I have seen many doctors in my life and I have several relatives that are doctors too. Dr. Jagan is very professional, very skilled and very thorough in her assessment and follow up of my condition. She cares very much about her patients ! I realize from my experience, the last Dr failed to correct my condition that it is a very difficult procedure. Whether she was to succeed in correcting my condition, I realize either way I could not have been in better hands and had a better chance for success. I really do believe due to Dr. Jagan’s great skill the operation was successful. Again it is difficult operation and either way I would’ve been very happy to know. The ability of Dr. Jagan to explain and elaborate on what she was doing during the procedure, and what the next steps were, was immensely reassuring and informative. This encouraged me to tell myself to stay totally calm and focused even during the most intrusive parts of the eyelid surgery.
