About Mrs Lisa Fraser

Ms Lisa Fraser is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2003 and completed her higher surgical training within the Wessex Deanery. In 2016, she was appointed as a Consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital following a prestigious, highly specialised Interface Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery in Oxford. She has recently stepped down from the position of Clinical Lead for Head and Neck Surgery within the Trust and is a core member of the Oxford Head and Neck multidisciplinary team. Demonstrating a unique dedication to clinical governance and patient rights, she completed an LLM in Healthcare Law and Ethics from De Montfort University in 2011, leveraging this expertise as a member of the Trust's Clinical Ethics Advisory Group.

Her clinical practice is particularly focused on the management of head and neck oncology, including the surgical treatment of both benign and malignant tumours. She possesses sub-specialist expertise in managing complex salivary gland problems, voice disorders, and airway pathologies, and she plays an essential role in patient safety as an active member of the Oxford Tracheostomy Management Group.

Ms Fraser is actively engaged in medical education and clinical leadership. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest clinical standards and is a member of several prominent professional organisations, including the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO) and ENT UK.

Mrs Fraser has the best manner towards me as her patient of any doctor I have dealt with in 80 years of the NHS. She should be used in bedside manner training of young doctors
