Dr. Liam Linney

Dr. Liam Linney gained extensive experience managing emergencies both in hospital and in community settings, quickly becoming a well-rounded practitioner. He particularly enjoyed the community aspect of his work, which led him to transition into General Practice. During this time, he developed an interest in private medicine, particularly after learning about the unique approach taken by Linbury Doctors.

Dr. Linney was drawn to Linbury Doctors for its bespoke, patient-centred care, which focuses on continuity, small patient lists, and availability. He has a special interest in dermatology, minor surgery, children's health, and sports/exercise medicine.

Outside of his medical career, Dr. Linney is a passionate football fan and player. He supports his hometown team, Huddersfield, and has proudly captained his local team for the past few years, relishing his role within the community. He has a young family, enjoys spending time with his son, Jack, and his two cats, Max and Paddy. When not playing football, he stays active by riding his bike and going to the gym.
