Mr Leonidas Vachtsevanos

Mr. Vachtsevanos was able to explain exactly what I needed to know, as he has done since my first appointment with him. He has given me partial knee replacement to both knees which has freed me from years of pain and has enabled me to now sleep on my back with my legs straight. I cannot think how he could have improved my treatment experience and I cannot thank him enough!

Following on from prior clinical consultations I saw Mr Vachtsevanos for my on going knee issue. He was able to give me a diagnosis and a full understanding of my knee problem and the options available going forward. I felt so happy when I left as I now have a full understanding and a solution. My experience with Mr Vachtsevanos was excellent. From my very first consultation to the follow ups after surgery, the information given has been very clear and professional. My questions were answered and example of other patients recovery help alleviate any anxiety I had about the recovery. I was given a clear plan of action which included a prediction of care I may need further down the line in line with my diagnosis. It is helpful to have these possibilities explained early on in my opinion.

Freindly and efficient

I had an MRI of my knee the findings of which were explained to me in a clear & timely fashion. Management options were discussed & I felt reassured. The MRI report also highlighted some findings which were not expected & unrelated to my knee symptoms. This triggered further medical investigations but this process was clearly explained to me with lots of reassurance.

Leo was very good at explaining every stage of the knee replacement process. My new knees have been amazing! The importance of following rehab and physio regime was explained and I have been doing more exercise than ever- now pain free! Thanks to Leo I was able to dance at my daughter’s wedding! Off to the gym shortly. I appreciate my renewed fitness daily. Now 3 years on I am still seeing improvements both in flexion and nerve re-growth with more feeling on the skin around the (fading) scars. Thank you!
