Dr Lawrence Hayes is an outstanding consultant. Over the past five years, I’ve seen many consultants, and he stands out as by far the most kind, attentive and professional. He takes the time to truly listen and shows genuine understanding of my condition, which has helped me develop a strong sense of trust in him. His bedside manner is excellent: - He communicates clearly and compassionately, particularly when administering Botox - explaining what sensations I might feel and why he is moving certain parts of my body. This approach helps me feel at ease and informed throughout the process. - He strikes a thoughtful balance between friendly conversation and practical focus, which makes appointments feel both professional and personable. - When I’ve experienced pain, he has brought in additional staff to support me, showing both attentiveness and sensitivity. Dr Hayes has also been proactive in coordinating my care. He has made timely referrals and ensured that other healthcare professionals involved in my treatment are kept updated. I’ve also observed him interacting with his colleagues - always with patience and kindness, especially when explaining clinical details or demonstrating procedures. I feel very lucky to have him as one of my consultants.
