Mr Reddy explained the procedure for my hip replacement. The operation went smoothly, I had no bruising my scar healed quickly and recovery has been great.

Mr Reddy was friendly and welcoming and open to discussing my case with me. I felt safe in his hands. My only criticism is that a technique was used during my surgery that I had not been made aware of. I know this was performed because it would have the best outcome for me, and wasn't what Mr Reddy had anticipated doing based on my MRI results. But prior warning of it as a small possibility would have enabled me to prepare for the longer time needed off work because of it

Mr. Reddy took time to visit before and after the operation. Even on the day I left. He was reassuring with a friendly and confident manner. You felt that he cared about you.

Mr Reddy was friendly, professional and prepared. He clearly highlighted the issues raised in MRI scan and how he thought an arthroscopy would elevate my symptoms. During the procedure Mr Reddy carried out micro fracturing which was not in the range of options discussed with me. I fully appreciate that Mr Reddy would only have been fully sighted once the arthroscopic camera was in situ and would have acted for the best possible clinical outcome. However I was surprised when I came round from the anaesthetic and the nurse told me about the micro fracturing. I had never heard of it and the longer recovery period and reduced mobility has impacted on work plans I put in place.
