The phone call explained what is next and clarified questions answered. Excellent
I was supplied with 5 weeks of catheter ie. 1 per week. I was not informed that I would have to self catheterise for a further 5 month's on a fortnightly basis and no arrangements were made to supply me with the required catheters. I was only made aware of this issue when I saw my consultant 17 weeks after my operation. This has resulted in me missing 3 months of my post operation treatment.
Mr Hosny was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. The medicines that he prescribed cured my symptoms completely and I have now been discharged.
His manner was vey professional and I was worried but he soon put my mind at rest.
Very good, calming through the appointment and explained everything in detail, but also simply and well enough to ensure nothing was misunderstood. Very thorough and made sure I'd got all the information I needed before leaving.
Very Disappointed as I felt it was a waste of my time and his, only to be told he was going to refer me to another specialist and hospital to have my procedure done as it couldn't be done at fulwood Hall Preston ...
Mr Hosny is an excellent urologist who is compassionate and technically skilled. He always strives to have the best outcomes, whether its for patients or colleagues
