Dr. Katy Daniels

Dr Katy Daniel is a General Practitioner at Medica GP in Colchester, UK. She qualified with honours from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1994 and has over 20 years of experience working in both NHS and private general practice.

Following her medical qualification, Dr Daniel completed house jobs in general medicine, diabetes, and dermatology at Jersey General Hospital, alongside general surgery training in Northampton. She also spent a year working in paediatrics at Whipps Cross Hospital. Her GP training took place at Royal Free Hospital, where she gained experience across acute adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, accident and emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and general medicine. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).

Dr Daniel has clinical interests in lifestyle medicine, mental health, women’s health, and dermatology. Her work also includes chronic disease management, health checks, sexual health, vaccinations, and weight management.

She practises at Oaks Hospital and The Egan Clinic in Colchester.
