Dr. Karina Pentaedo

Dr. Karina Pentaedo is a dedicated dentist with a special interest in paediatric dentistry, driven by her lifelong passion for working with children.

Since the beginning of her career in 2001, Dr. Karina has focused on oral surgery and paediatric dentistry, where she finds fulfilment in helping children overcome their anxieties about dental care. Utilising advanced techniques such as inhalation sedation and 'Wand' computer anaesthesia, she ensures a comfortable experience for her young patients.

With a keen interest in restorative treatments for cleft lip/palate patients, Dr. Karina continuously seeks to expand her expertise in paediatric dentistry. Her dedication extends beyond clinical practice, as she has been a clinical teacher at King’s College Paediatric Department for the past 8 years. Here, she shares her wealth of knowledge with dental students and supervises programs aimed at minimising caries disease in communities, such as the one in her native Brazil.

As a mother herself, Dr. Karina understands the importance of finding the right dentist for children and strives to create a stress-free environment where they can develop lifelong oral hygiene habits.
