About Mr Kanai Garala
Mr Kanai Garala is a highly trained consultant specialising in hip replacement surgery and pelvic trauma. He practises at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, Priory Hospital Edgbaston and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, and has trauma commitments at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. With dual fellowship training in hip replacement and pelvic trauma, Mr Garala focuses on complex surgeries, revision hip surgery, and treating pelvic and acetabular (hip socket) trauma. My hip replacement went wrong and I was referred to mr Garala to sort it out. The 1st surgeons broke my pelvis when putting the implants in. Mr Garala went through everything with me, from the operation through to the recovery. After the horror of the 1st operation I can now say how grateful I am that I can walk again without any sticks. Apparantly this is quite a difficult surgery so Mr Garala gets full marks from me. I have arthritis in my other hip and I'm definitely going to come and see Mr Garala again.
