About Mr Kanai Garala
Mr. Kanai Garala is a highly trained consultant specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery and pelvic trauma. He practices at The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, Priory Hospital edgbaston, Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and has trauma commitments at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. With dual fellowship training in hip and knee replacements as well as pelvic trauma, Mr. Garala focuses on complex surgeries, revision hip surgery, and treating pelvic and acetabular (hip socket) trauma. Brilliant doctor. I had a broken hip many years ago which didn't set properly. It wasn't a problem for Mr Garala. He took out all the hardware and put in a hip replacement. I've had a new lease of life since I've had it done.
I broke my hip socket and was stuck in another hospital for 3 days on my back. Mr Garala brought me over the the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and did a fantastic job on my hip. He fixed it and then did a hip replacement. I'm now walking so freely. The whole experience has been marvellous.
The one thing that I couldn't believe was how little pain I was in following the anterior hip replacement. It's been brilliant and my family have been astounded how quickly I've recovered.
