Mr Julian Peacock

Mr Julian Peacock is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in pelvic oncology and advanced robotic-assisted procedures. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Nottingham, obtaining honours for his intercalated BMedSci degree before undertaking higher specialty training across the Southwest of England. To refine his expertise in complex oncology, he undertook a competitive fellowship in robotic pelvic surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, one of the highest-volume centres for pelvic surgery in the UK.

Following his appointment as a Substantive Consultant in Gloucestershire in 2024, his clinical practice has focused on the investigation and management of prostate and bladder cancers, as well as general urological conditions including men's health issues and benign prostatic enlargement. As a high-volume robotic surgeon who takes particular pride in minimising the functional impact of surgery for his patients, he remains actively involved in clinical research through trials such as GRACE and ELIPSE, while also serving as the Educational Lead for the urology department at Cheltenham General Hospital to train future surgeons.
