About Mr Joseph Sebastian
Mr Joseph Sebastian is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon with more than two decades of surgical experience. He graduated with his MBBS in 1998, completed his MS in 2002, obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in 2005, and went on to achieve Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) in General and Colorectal Surgery in 2011. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Mr Sebastian has been serving as a Consultant Surgeon with East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust since 2013, where he provides expertise in both colorectal and emergency general surgery. His clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and surgical management of bowel cancer, colorectal resection, diverticular disease, and a wide range of lower gastrointestinal conditions. He also has significant experience in interventional lower GI endoscopy.
In addition to his clinical commitments, Mr Sebastian contributes to the wider surgical community through his work in the South East Thames regional chapter.
