Dr. Joseph Rodrigues

Dr Joseph Rodrigues is a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with extensive senior clinical and executive leadership experience across NHS, independent sector, and international healthcare settings. Holding his medical degree (MBBS), a Master of Science (MSc), and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry, he is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). He previously served as Medical Director and National Clinical Director at Priory Healthcare, providing executive clinical oversight across national mental health services.

Dr Rodrigues specialises in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and complex, treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions. His clinical background spans the entire spectrum of adult mental health provision, including community and inpatient rehabilitation, liaison psychiatry, early intervention in psychosis, assertive outreach, acute inpatient wards, and crisis home treatment services. Guided by a compassionate, patient-centred approach, Dr Rodrigues focuses on listening to each individual’s unique life story, using his extensive clinical experience to empower patients toward optimal mental health and recovery.
