Dr Jonathan Manning

Dr Jonathan Manning is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive diseases and abdominal health conditions. With clinical leadership experience as a Clinical Director and Associate Medical Director, he maintains a strong focus on patient-centred clinical excellence, ensuring that individuals receive prompt, clear, and reassuring guidance throughout their assessment and treatment pathways.

His clinical interests encompass both upper and lower gastrointestinal disorders. Dr Manning specialises in the investigation and management of inflammatory bowel disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux, hepatobiliary conditions, and gastrointestinal malignancies. He routinely performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including colonoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, with a focus on optimising bowel preparation to achieve high-quality clinical evaluations for his patients.

Dr Manning completed his medical education and postgraduate clinical training in general internal medicine and gastroenterology, earning Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. In addition to his clinical practice, he has been actively involved in clinical research and scientific publications focusing on gastrointestinal physiology and bowel cleansing protocols. He works closely within a multidisciplinary team alongside specialist nurses, dietitians, and clinical colleagues to deliver holistic, compassionate care.
