Dr John Hallett

Dr John Hallett is a dedicated Consultant Paediatric Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for neonates, infants, children, and young people. Understanding that surgical intervention in young patients requires a tailored and sensitive approach, Dr Hallett prioritises empathetic communication and reassuring support for families throughout every stage of assessment, procedure, and post-operative recovery. Dr Hallett earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours (BMedSci Hons), later completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on advanced clinical research. He completed extensive postgraduate surgical training in academic paediatric surgery and regenerative medicine at leading medical institutions across the United Kingdom. Dr Hallett holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Paediatric Surgery, reflecting his commitment to high professional standards. Alongside his direct patient care, he remains actively engaged in academic instruction and medical research, serving as a Clinical Senior Research Fellow and Honorary Clinical Lecturer.
