Dr. Jennifer Hong

Dr Jennifer Hong is a GP with over 10 years of broad clinical experience, providing care to patients of all ages and genders. Alongside her primary role as an NHS GP at Highparks Medical Practice in Kent, she works as a private GP at Grosvenor Gardens Healthcare, giving her extensive experience across the full breadth of general practice.

While she enjoys the variety of general practice and caring for patients with a wide range of health concerns, she has a particular specialist interest in women’s health. She is passionate about providing care that is approachable, compassionate and tailored to each individual woman.

Dr Hong understands that women’s health concerns are not always easy to talk about and aims to create a relaxed, supportive and non-judgemental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns openly. She takes the time to listen and understand not only the symptoms a patient is experiencing, but also how these may be affecting their wider health, wellbeing and everyday life.

Her areas of interest include menstrual and hormonal health, contraception and family planning, preconception care, Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, perimenopause and menopause. She enjoys helping women understand their symptoms, discussing the options available and supporting them to make informed decisions about their health.

Dr Hong takes a holistic approach to healthcare, recognising the important role that lifestyle can play in both physical and emotional wellbeing. She is interested in supporting patients with areas such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress and healthy lifestyle choices, and believes that small, sustainable changes can make a meaningful difference to long-term health.

Her experience in both NHS and private general practice allows her to combine a broad understanding of general medicine with her particular interest in women’s health, while considering each patient’s individual circumstances, priorities and goals.

Above all, Dr Hong wants her patients to feel listened to, understood and supported. She believes in taking the time to get to know each patient as an individual and working together to find the right approach for their health and wellbeing.
