Dr Jamal Khan

Dr Jamal Khan is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist specialising in non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardio-oncology. With a patient-centred approach, he provides thorough diagnostic evaluations and expert care for individuals with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions. His clinical focus centres on using advanced diagnostic tools to accurately assess heart structure and function, helping patients and their families navigate complex cardiovascular health concerns with confidence.

Dr Khan completed his medical education at the University of Birmingham Medical School, earning his BMedSci and MBChB degrees and qualifying in 2004. He subsequently undertook advanced postgraduate research, obtaining a PhD from the University of Leicester. To maintain high standards of practice and remain at the forefront of medical advancements, he holds active memberships with professional organisations, including the British Cardiovascular Society, the British Society for Echocardiography, the British Society for Cardiovascular MRI, the British Society for Cardiac Imaging, and the European Society of Cardiology.

His areas of clinical expertise include advanced echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and cardiac computed tomography (CT). Dr Khan has dedicated special interest to cardio-oncology, adult congenital heart disease imaging, cardiomyopathies, and complex valvular heart disease. In addition to his clinical practice, he actively contributes to national and international education and accreditation in cardiac imaging, supporting continuous quality improvement and evidence-based patient management.
