About Ms Irumee Pai
Miss Irumee Pai is a consultant ENT surgeon at Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, London. She specialises specifically in ear conditions and hearing implants in adults, including cochlear implantation, endoscopic ear surgery and middle ear/mastoid surgery.
She completed specialist training at a number of centres across London and South East England and obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Otolaryngology in 2013. She undertook two post-CCT fellowships, at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals (advanced otology and hearing implant surgery) and at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, Australia (otology and skull base surgery), before being appointed to her current consultant post in 2014.
In addition to a busy clinical practice, she has a keen research interest and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications as well as three book chapters. She is currently studying for a part time PhD at King's College London.
