Dr. Huseyin Can Yucel

Huseyin Can Yucel has developed a broad surgical background through five and a half years of residency training at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey’s leading academic surgical departments. His professional qualifications include Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) and Fellowship of the European Board of Cosmetic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS).

His specialist training encompasses several areas of surgery, including reconstructive microsurgery, craniofacial procedures, breast surgery and body contouring. This combination of reconstructive and aesthetic experience gives him a foundation for considering both appearance and function when planning treatment, with patient safety and individual needs central to his approach.

His clinical interests cover facial procedures such as facelifts, neck lifts, brow lifts, eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty. In breast surgery, his experience includes augmentation, mastopexy, reduction and reconstructive operations. He also performs body-contouring procedures, including liposuction, abdominoplasty and surgery to address excess skin following significant weight loss.

Beyond aesthetic surgery, Huseyin has expertise in complex reconstructive techniques. These include microsurgical reconstruction of soft tissues, free tissue transfer and advanced microsurgical procedures, as well as craniofacial surgery involving facial trauma and complex facial reconstruction.

Research is another important part of his professional work. He has contributed to peer-reviewed studies published in SCI-Expanded indexed journals, maintaining an academic interest that supports his ongoing clinical development and informs his approach to surgical decision-making.
