I can’t praise and thank Dr Arshad and his wonderful team enough. I never thought I say this again but my hair is amazing. I’m now at the 8 month stage and my hair is back. After contemplating and thoroughly researching FUE transplants abroad and in the U.K for quite some time, and with the lockdown enabling me to have some recovery time whilst not at work yesterday I had more than 2,500 grafts with Dr Arshad and the team at the Hair Dr at their Leeds based clinic. I was highly impressed with the standard of care, knowledge, information, warmth and dedication to the process shown by the whole team, putting me at ease right from the beginning of the experience (early 7am start ). What really set Dr Arshad and his team apart for me was their attention to detail in key matters like deciding the shape and density of the front hairline, selecting the correct blend of single, soft single and double hairs in order to recreate a natural hairline for a man of my age (41). So often in transplanted hair you see an unnaturally “pluggy”or there is a perfect squareness to the front hairline which instantly looks unnatural. Another thing was the high level of attention to the directional growth patterns of the hair which being a hairdresser myself I understand are of paramount importance to take into account when cutting hair and also add to the natural feel I had observed in all the picture testimonials on the hair Dr website and On YouTube I felt the team were there for me every step of the way always asking if I was ok and making the day (which can be uncomfortable sitting for so long) a really pleasurable experience.
