Professor Reena Sidhu is professional and thorough, clearly explaining details during consultations and procedures. She takes time to understand patient history and details investigations, outlining effective treatment options. Patients feel listened to, reassured, and well-informed when discussing their diagnosis or undergoing a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. This approach helps manage common gastrointestinal conditions like abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea, and acid reflux.
Professor Sidhu was very thorough in her investigations and diagnostics and explained everything fully. She also followed through in what she agreed from the start. Whilst GI medicine is not the cause of my problems she has made sure that I have been fully investigated and also that ensured I have received appropriate treatment. I am just waiting for a copy of the letter summarising her investigations and treatment. If anything I would say this is an area that could be improved - the follow up letters have yet to appear and these are important for patients as well as GP’s to have for their records. Overall I would absolutely recommend Professor Sidhu whom is not only an expert but also professional and personable.
An overall excellent experience with Professor Sidhu, across the initial consultation, procedure, and follow up. She took great care in explaining all steps & findings. I can’t recommend her care highly enough.
