Professor Reena Sidhu

Professor Sidhu qualified in Dublin, Ireland with honors and did her postgarduate degree in Sheffield. She is one of the most published in small bowel endoscopy in the UK and was awarded the prestigious Hopkins Endoscopy Prize by the British Society of Gastroenterology ( BSG) in 2012, the first femael to have ever won this.

She runs a tertiary small bowel endoscopy service which has won several awards and runs national training courses in capsule endoscopy. She is the first author of BSG guidelines on small bowel endoscopy and European guidelines of the same. She has clinical fellows under her training banner and is actively involved in research.

She does private clinics at Claremont Hospital on tuesday evenings and sees a variety of gastroenetrology complaints and performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy at Claremont Hospital.
