Mr Guy Martin

Mr Guy Martin is a Consultant Vascular and Trauma Surgeon with expertise across arterial and venous disease. His clinical interests include complex aortic and lower limb surgery, thoracic outlet syndromes, varicose veins and spinal access surgery. He also has experience in major trauma, including resuscitative surgery and the multidisciplinary care of patients with significant injuries.

Mr Martin has more than a decade of experience with the Army Medical Services and is involved in humanitarian work as faculty with the David Nott Foundation. His academic and research interests include translational digital health technologies and complex vascular disease. He is a former NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Surgery and completed a PhD in collaboration with DeepMind Health.

His academic work includes clinical trials and research initiatives, and he has secured research grant funding, published and lectured widely. Mr Martin is also a Co-Founder of The Evidence Company and undertakes medico-legal expert witness work relating to his clinical practice, for which he has completed Bond Solon recognised training.
